Class Evaluation

Some things i liked about this class is that every time we come to class we learn a quote that can stick with us for the rest of our life. I also like that we actually learn something new every time like learning to type without looking at the keys.

Something's I did not like about this class was that we always talk about the bad things a person has done but the thing they had done wrong was like a long time ago . You never know the person could have changed.Another thing I don't like is that we judge people right away.

Some recommendations for this class to improve is that when we talk about the people who  ctw  we also talk about how they changed and ctr.

A Highlight for me in this class was that I learned new things  that could actually help me when ever I need to. Another thing is that I learn how to use a computer.

To be honest I did not try my best all the time but i did sometimes.

I do read my life planning journal. I think it will help you alot because you get to write down all the things you want to achieve. And every time you open that journal you have something to achieve.

This statement is saying that if you were telling a lie all that will do for you is lead you to another lie. You won’t be able to stop lying. For example, its like smoking because once you smoke that cigarette you won’t be able to stop. You’ll just get caught in a circle of lies. If you tell a lie once then all your truths will become questionable. When you always lie you can’t expect people to trust you because then they will just know as the liar.

You have so many things to do in just one day. Sometimes you forget to do things or sometimes you just don’t do it because you don’t feel like it. But the one thing you should always do is what is right. You should always do the right thing no matter in what situation you are in. always do the even if in the situation doing bad would actually help.Doing the right is always the hardest thing to do. For example, there will always be good in the world if you decide to do right.

This is a very true and important statement. I’m sure we’ve all heard this statement once before because it’s true. You’ve probably heard this before by someone or your loved ones. This statement means that you're better off alone than to be with people who are bad influences. For example, you can’t hang out with negative people and expect your life to be positive. It’s  very simple hang out with positive people and it will be positive. That’s why this statement says its better to be alone than with bad company.

World War ll

The world war started from September 1, 1939 - September 2, 1945. The war was fought against two countries. These countries were in groups. These groups were called “The axis powers” and “The allies”. The axis powers had Germany Italy and Japan. On the other side which was the allies were Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India,the Soviet Union, China and the United states of America. World War ll took place all over the world. It took place in East Asia, Europe and the islands in the pacific ocean. Some fighting was seen as far away as the Aleutain islands, Madagascar and South America.  Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany.  After conquering Poland, Germany attacked France. France fell in June 1940, and soon the Nazis overran most of the rest of Europe and North Africa.

President john f kennedy is saying that you can be your best only when you're physically fit. For example if you want to do something or anything you won’t be able to because you’ll be tired. But if you were physically fit then you wouldn’t be tired. So like if you wanted to achieve something you would have to be fit to do that.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:Health science librarian provide health information about new medical treatments,clinical trials Health science librarians are in charge of arranging information resources such as texts, CD-ROMs, journals, and electronic databases.

Education:Health sciences librarians work in medical,nursing, or   allied health schools.

Demand for this profession:Individuals interested in becoming a medical librarian must complete a 4-year baccalaureate program in any discipline they choose. The most common majors for health science librarians include biology, library sciences, management, or health information.

This statement means that is you want to achieve greatness You have to be kind. For example you can’t just go up to someone and be like oh give do that pick that up. You have to be kind to them and say can you please pick that up. You always have to be kind during hard times. Because maybe you’ll wake up one day and think i should have done this or that. Maybe you’ll regret not having to be to someone. Or maybe someone is having a bad day and you're kind to them it might just make their day. Everybody deserves kindness.

Thanksgiving Week

During my thanksgiving break I spent my week with my friends and family from my mom’s side and my dad’s side as well. During the week my friend came over to my  house to visit me because we hadn’t seen each other since middle school. When she came over we went to the library with my little brother. Once we were there we watched a movie and we got popcorn and soda. Then we went to our other friends house but her mom said that she was asleep so we went back to my house and then i took her home. On thanksgiving day when i woke up my mom, sister and i started cooking. After cooking for a while it was finished. So then i got hungry and i couldn’t help myself because there was so much food . so i ended up getting food.  Then after we went to my grandma’s house to eat and we had a good time. After we ate we went to my other grandma’s house. They had a mechanical bull and a fire. I was very excited so i got on it and i was a little scared. The next day after my whole body was sore and i couldn’t move. And then i got sick.

This statement is so true  because manners do maketh man. There’s an example in the movie kingsman. This is true because having good manners is the kind of person you want to be because it shows that you have respect for yourself and respect for others. Of course nobody will like you if you don’t have manners because, then it shows that you no self respect and that you don’t care. It reflects on the type of person you are. It’s always important to show your manners. It also shows that you're smart.

This statement means that if you understand the difference between right and wrong,then you would do the right thing. Because obviously you wouldn't try and do the wrong thing. From what i understand is like saying , if you know it’s not right then why the would you do it. It’s the same thing with the truth like, if it’s not true then why would you say it. This is all common sense and if people do it then obviously it’s because they choose not to. If they choose not to they can hurt people which is not cool so that’s why we should always think before we speak and think before we do.

Thanksgiving And Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day Started on 1621 by plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indian.America have held ceremonies to give thanks for successful harvests, for the hope of a good growing season in the early spring, and for other good fortune such as the birth of a child. Giving thanks was, and still is, the primary reason for ceremonies or celebrations.Thanksgiving Day parades are held in some cities and towns on or around Thanksgiving Day. Some parades or festivities also mark the opening of the Christmas shopping season. Some people have a four-day weekend so it is a popular time for trips and to visit family and friends.

"Doing what is right,fair and honorable is more important than winning or loosing."

This statement I feel is trying to say that if something happens loosing or winning wont mater. What matters is that you choose the right thing to do. Or it could mean not to be a sore loser because if anything you did the right thing. You always have to be fair if you win or loose. You loose with honor and if you win , you win with honor. Winning doesn't matter neither does loosing. In the end all that matters is that you have to do what is right be fair and be honorable. 

Veterans Day

Veterans day is a holiday for the anniversary of the end of World War 1 to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. Veterans day is on November 11. The whole purpose of Veterans day is to honor the end of World War 1. Its important to honor Veterans day because they fought for our country and without them who would. Its also important because its a way of acknowledging the sacrifices they have made while serving their country. I could share my light on the greenlight a vet map. I could also donate, fly a flag, ask someone about their service, write a postcard, and visit a VA hospital. I think its special that we still honor our veterans because in the end they still fought for our country.

What I understood from this statement is that if we want to respect yourself and other people you have to have courage for yourself. You have to have the courage to say no the bad things in this world. Also, you have to  face the truth even if its difficult. We have to face the truth because it is the right thing to do. Of course we always have to do and choose the right thing because it is right. If we use these things in our everyday life then we would be living our life with integrity.

This proverb is saying that if you hang out with good people then you yourself will do good. This is because  good people will lead you to do good and they will encourage you to choose the right path. If you were to be friends with the wrong people then they would encourage you to to bad things. For example , if you have a test on Friday and you have good friends they would tell you to go study with   them. So they always help you choose the right . I f you were to have bad friends they would tell you to go out with them to a party  and that's why you choose the right people to hang out with.

This means that just because people want to do whatever they want doesn't mean its the right thing to do. If people are doing the wrong thing don't give in and start doing it with them, you stand up and start doing the right thing. The right thing to do will always be the right thing and the wrong will always be the wrong. So you always have to do the right thing because its the right thing to do.

This statement from Peter can tell you a lot of things. It can show you how to achieve greatness. What i feel that this statement is trying to say is don't let anything get in the way of what you are wanting to achieve. Writing down what you want most will help because it'll be a reminder to strive for what you want. As time goes on you begin to see your greatness growing more and more. This can change the way your trying to achieve your goal.

Homecoming

Homecoming has traditionally signaled the arrival of two events. Usually it’s the school’s football team. The type of game you play depends on where you live because  each state likes different sports. Homecoming is like when the school’s football team first home game after being on the road. Current students are not only the only participants of the celebration. Alumni from all classes are welcomed back to reminisce about their glory days as well.This is what I think the true meaning of homecoming is. It’s about remembering good times with good people. It’s about celebrating that past and present. It’s about coming home.

What this quote means to me is that when you do good things everyone will know you by all the good things you've done. A good name is better than anything because when a person hears your name they will automatically think very good of you. You shouldn't worry about the expensive things you have you should worry about how you act with people. This is because later on if they ever hear your name they'd probably think bad of you. So its always good to do good things by people.
