This statement means that it you should surround yourself with positive people. This is because the positivity of hanging out with good people will get caught on to you. The people you hang out with is contagious. So if you were to hang out with bad people then you yourself would slowly become a bad person. If we don't find good people or we don’t know where to find them it's just better to be alone.
