Duties and Responsibilities:a person who is specially trained and certified to administer basic emergency services to victims of trauma or acute illness before and during transportation to a hospital or other healthcare facility.

Education:High school diploma or GED and a certificate, diploma or associate’s degree from an accredited EMT program

Demand or need for this profession:All emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics must complete a postsecondary educational program. All states require EMTs and paramedics to be licensed; requirements vary by state.

Reflection: Being a EMT is a tough job. In my opinion i wouldn’t really like to choose this job because i wouldn’t like to do that.
