“I trust that my hard work will pay off”
  • Tyler Haws
We were all born to achieve something. Some of us are just born with this gift to be diligent. All of us achieve greatness at one point in our life. It all depends whether you work hard enough to achieve it. If you try your very best  and work your hardest at all times,  your life will be easy in the long run. Tyler haws shows us that it really works if we really put our mind to it.

“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”
-Brigham Young
This statement is very true because only good things come out of doing the right things. If you really want to have the true freedom and independence it all depends on whether you're a good person who does good deeds. Its shows that you can enjoy and have a happy life if you choose the right

“They're only truly great who are truly good “
-George Chapman

This statement is saying that if you are a good person then you are great because you do good. Only the good people are great. This is because like why would you be great if you're a bad person. It's only the good in people who shine to be greatness. All of us could be greatness waiting to happen. We just need to guide ourselves into the the good deeds and stay on that path. Sometimes things go wrong because you doubt things. It’s the little  bad seed that grows within you in and makes you doubt or second guess. Overall we just need to stay on the right path no matter what happens.

Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it .
-George Mitchell
From my understanding what he is trying to explain is that many people think the little mistake that you do is gonna be worth the pain in the long run it's not because it's not right. Its embarrassing if in the future you tell your children or other people that you had to cheat in order to be successful. You have to earn the key to success because nobody else is gonna put all that time and effort just so that you can be successful. Nothing is free in this world. But some people like to believe that and that's what causes  all these problems. So ctr people

“ I won’t cheat ”
- Dale Murphy
This statement by Dale can really teach us something. This is because all of know that it’s wrong to cheat but sometimes we aren’t aware of what we're actually doing. Sometimes we make mistakes but everybody has those days. It’s very important to not cheat because if you cheat you're not being true to yourself and if you’re not being true to yourself them how will you know the limits and know the achievements you've accomplished.

“Character matters most “
  • Dale Murphy
This statement is very true. This is because what matters most is character because character defines you. Having good character is is being a good person. If you have achieved something it's because of your good character. We all have good character we just need the courage to actually use it.  For example, dale has achieved many things in life and he was a very good man. Dale is an example of a man with character. He is the example we should become.
